Educational and Community

Kay Syrad is an experienced educator, working in higher, further and adult education. She has worked for many years as Course Leader and lecturer with non-traditional students on Access to Higher Education programmes and has taught Creative Writing for Sussex University’s Centre for Continuing Education. She is particularly interested in how creative practice and reading fiction and poetry can enhance the development of academic skills. Kay is a member of the National Association of Writers in Education (NAWE).
